SM City Naga Now Showing its Figure

Who says that the Philippines is a very very poor country? It’s really ironic but Filipinos still have the nerve to spend a day or two shopping at the mall and as they leave doors of the mall sometimes they make sure they have bought something or ate something. Well, that’s just one of our personalities that we love to feel light and relaxed just by strolling, window shopping and buying a little something from a mall.

Few months from today, SM City Naga will now be open to the public. March or April as their target date, being located at the heart of the Bicol Region, Consumers coming from the South Luzon can be catered by it. With the non-stop construction of the mall, day and night, the mall is showing its form and blue color showing a pride of customer oriented service to the Bicolanos and neighbouring regions.

One of my awaited areas of the mall will be the Movie House/Cinema. It’s high time for Naga City to be updated with movies so that we can also be witnesses of screenplays of upcoming movies and not 2 or 3 weeks after the original date of release. Big screen here we come for it is still the best experience to feel movies deep within one’s veins (rather than always watching online). Quite expensive, nowadays yeah it’s true, but if you’re watching a film that you’ve been always waiting for? It’s always worth the price or even more.

Plus here are three establishments that I hope would be in the mall. Don Henricos or at least Yellow Cab!!!! And Starbucks. Yan lng naman I wouldn’t seek for anything else pero pinaka importante may new pizza parlor and I will reiterate this again.. Yellow Cab!!! Hahaha manglilibre ako pag meron. Pero isang beses lng hahaha
Changes Changes. I can just imagine the traffic that the mall will be crafting out *whew*. We must prepare for the worst traffic ever. Stay away from the main thoroughfares near the mall. More Bicolanos will have the chance to be employed and it’s really a big help for the whole region. For the other malls in the city, I’m sure they are preparing for some major changes in their profit earnings. (gee..that would be scary). Let us leave that problem to the mall and department stores owners, they’d better do some major changes as well in order to retain their employees. Strategy strategy strategy! Just think of it this way, in the National Capitol Region almost all malls are situated like one road apart but still they survive in one way or another. We all know that Filipinos always wants to try out something new so tactic-wise speaking be competitive to the most you can. Good luck.

For us consumers? Welcome SM City Naga! Sabi nga ng slogan nyo, “We’ve Got it All For You” kami naman we’re ready to take our footsteps in your mall.

P.S.O. Perwisyo Sa Oras

The Public Safety Office of the Philippine government has lots of roles in serving our community. One area of which is ensuring the safety on road. Here’s the scenario, Naga City doesn’t have traffic lights, and all there is are signs and assigned officers to do their duties. (Is it cost cutting or just sticking on the basics?o baka naman kinurakot na ung pangbili ng traffic light? haha i dunno). But then, I have been always wondering if “trafficking” (I’m not sure how to call it but they are the ones who stays at the center of the road miming and whistling at drivers to stop and go in different directions) is still included in their job description. Can anyone confirm this to me?

Well anyway, my argument is this, when police officers or the PSO themselves or the Highway Patrol Group people (Formerly TMG or the Traffic Management Group) positions themselves at the center of streets to “traffic” or guide the drivers the more that it results to traffic even though there’s no accident or collision beforehand. Guys, it does waste a lot of time, energy, and gas. (Buti nlng 32 nlng ang gas.. at sana bumaba pa kc kung nsa 61 parin dahil yan ung pinaka msakit na price per liter na narasanan ko? ampff tlgang sisigawan ko na kau)

I know that public or community safety is one your responsibilities that’s why you are there to prevent road accidents. I wouldn’t mind if they do their thing when there’s a collision, accident or a rush hour, but on a regular hour where the traffic is not that much? C’mon!! Here’s my suggestion:

1. Please leave the center and go the side

2. Just observe and be alert.

3. Then if there are undisciplined and hard headed drivers trying to be aggressive? That would be the perfect time for you to do your thing.

Besides we’re giving you the favour of taking a break and a chance to hide yourself from the sun to avoid continued skin discoloration, skin diseases or even skin cancer. Right?

For drivers out there, I just hope we become discipline enough. *sigh* (kaya lng by nature halos matitigas tlga ulo ng mga pinoy drivers haha) so that we will all have a happy driving where there is give and take.(wooshooo wala eh halos walang nagbibigay sa daan)

My 2 Most Awaited Films in 2009

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
There's no official trailer yet..there's a lot of fake trailers in youtube haha

Fast and the Furious 4 back to back with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel!!!! woohhooo can't wait!! FF4 will be released by April of 2009.

A Craven Soul

Just a thought, I'm in no position to judge, this is just my observation. Prove me wrong then i can take back all of these that you will be reading. Tamaan kung cno gusto tamaan.

There are people in this world who wants to have an image who is so strong as if you can't be toppled down. Some would even say.. "I'm like this, my attitude and personality is like this and there is nothing else that you can do about it. Live with it or not, I don't care". People who have this kind of thinking isn't thinking at all. It's his/her pride who is waddling around his personality. A pride of stupidity I must say.

  • If you want to be someone strong then learn how to accept what is happening to you and accept that you need others! Learn how to co-exist with others and not live with yourself alone. Why were you born if all you wanted is to live by yourself and do things by yourself. If only one can wish to be someone or something then the perfect "object" to be you is to be a non-living thing. Feeling-LESS, sense-LESS, IN-sensitive or even better if you didn't exist.
  • Stop being so self-centered as if you are the only one who is living in this world.
  • Is hiding your only choice just to keep the significant people around you unhurt? Duhhh the act of "hiding" is the most stupid-ESTTTT (to the superlative degree) and an act of weakness. Eventually, you, hiding will still make other people hurt especially one's family. The more you conceal the more hurting it would be. You are beig selfish my dear friend.
  • I'm sure you'll just say, "So what, this is what I want" Go ahead, be our guest. Do whatever you want, hide whatever you want. See you on the other side if there is for you anyway?
Just look, a part of you is screaming for attention but you're pride is eating your means and the whole you. I just hope you open your eyes to the reality that you have to accept that you are not alone.

I have friends who had grim events in their lives, but they stayed strong and they were able to surpass all the tormenting and dreadful experiences. I salute them for their strong faith and acceptance. For you? You are not just the weakest link, but you are one hell of dastardly, craven, funk, and wimpish person in short C-O-W-A-R-D person that I have met in my life space.

A person who doesn't like to be helped will not be given any sympathy but humor alone. All you want to do is laugh. Go on. Laugh your heart out until you make others cry in the end full or regrets. All you have up in your skull and down your heart is the "me" and you don't have the "you".

I learned that i have to add something to my personal motto:

"I am the Me who can't be You, but I can share my life with you." - joDLT

Quiet Times

You ask me where I go tonight
I go back to today last year
When me and you had to make each other happier
And there was hope with everything

It's hard enough to feel the world as it is
And hold on anything
Without these quiet times
You've brought round here

I'm gonna have to run away
I'm sure that I belong some other place
And I've seen another side of all I've seen
It keeps me wondering where my family is

It's hard enough to see the world as it is
And hold on anything
Without these quiet times
Comin' round here

Now I miss you
Now I want you
But I can't have you
Even when your here

I suppose I have to take you with me
Broken mind
I'd rather leave you here
To forget everything you've seen and known
Erase every idea

And you walk up in the street
And hold my hand and smile
Well I won't be taken in
'Cause I know how it turns out and it takes me back
To these quiet times comin' round here

Now I miss you
Now I want you
You're not coming back
And I need you
But I can't have you
Even when your here

Now I miss you
Now I want you
You're not coming back
And I need you
But I can't have you
Even when your here

Make it Mine

Wake up everyone
How can you sleep at a time like this
Unless the dreamer is the real you
Listen to your voice
The one that tells you to taste past the tip of your tongue
Leap and the net will appear

I don't wanna wake before
The dream is over
I'm gonna make it mine
Yes I... I will own it
I'm gonna make it mine
Yes I'll make it all mine

I keep my life on a heavy rotation
Requesting that it's lifting you up
Up up and away
And over to a table at the gratitude cafe

And I am finally there
And all the angels they'll be singing
Ah la la la ah la la ah la la la la la love this

Well I don't wanna break before
The tour is over
I'm gonna make it mine
That's right, I... I will own it
I'm gonna make it mine
Yes I'll make it all mine...

Yes, I will make it all mine...
And timing's everything
And this time there's plenty
I am balancing
Careful and steady
And reveling in energy that everyone's emitting

Well I don't wanna wait no more
No, I wanna celebrate the whole world
I'm gonna make it mine
Because I'm following your joy
I'm gonna make it mine
Because I... I am open
I'm gonna make it mine
That's why... I wanna show it
I'm gonna make it, it mine
Gotta make gotta make gotta make gotta make it make it mine
Oh mine...
Yes I will make it all mine...

A Part of Me that I Miss So Much

I have been collecting thoughts about my friends and I have written something about the people I care and love and this is the perfect time that I have to post one of ‘em. Few of my friends are the best. They are the best in their own ways that they cannot be compared to one another.

“Wake up my Fanget bes alarm clock!” I cannot ever forget that txt message that I sent him. Who is this him? As the text message would literally say… he is my Fanget Bes… c dee jeehh. Dante Joseff F. He was raised up in Zambales but has a Paoayan (Paoay, Ilocos Sur) blood in his veins. We call each other Fanget. Kc pangit kami eh. haha

Dj is only one of the important people from my college life. I was a first year college student then, I had to make friends because I was from the lowland. As what others would usually say that one will experience culture shock, with a scale of 1- 10, and 10 b

eing the most shocked, I can only rate my “shockness” to 4. Why? I easily blended with the people around me (maybe because almost all of us were lowlanders trying to earn a degree @ the Light of the North).

Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Perfecto Building, and Room P501was our classroom for English 1 with the ever energetic (kahit anemic), bubbly, hilarious (kahit masungit minsan) and pretty Ma’am Francisco (I sure do miss her). P501, as I was reminded by my fanget bes was the room where we exchanged hellos for the first time. I never really expected that he’ll be one of the most important people in my life, my college life specifically.

Let me describe Fanget when I first met him. This “dude” (kc mdyo weirdo ang dating nya before hehe) had quite a long hair and had his nerdy look with the glasses naks! Hehe. From the moment I met him, he was a SODA in CAN

addict or kahit hnd sa can basta soda, then he would eventually collect the tabs (opener) of the can to be added to his collection as an accessory – his earings hahaha joke! It was an accessory like an ornament attached to his bag. Actually I would describe that as a reminder for him para kung ilang cans na ba nainom nya para mabutas ang kanyang stomach. It’s because sometimes he would complain to have his stomach ache, hay nako hyper o ulcer tlga aabutin. He was also a pc gamer addict, I would say he was starting during those times to be an addict in pc/online games. And today?? He has his own language for pc games. Drinking moments, overnights with friends and eating sessions at various restaurants is what you maketh it as a bonding time for all of us.

We had our seats arranged durin

g class hours and in Ma’am franie’s class, I got to sit with my fanget bes. If I’m not mistaken he was seated at my right. This guy made me talkative open figuratively speaking. He is so talkative up to the point that I would laugh my heart out because of his hilarious stories. Sometimes our instructor would call our attention because of the noise that we are creating.. hehe

The next reason is one of the most important reason why we had clicked so much. M U S I C. Yes! Non-stop music!!! From the ordinary discman, to my Nokia 5510 (the first phone to play lots of mp3s), then next to my Canon mp3 player. We had the resources for us to share the music that we like. We had the same taste of music and I mean almost the same likes and dislikes. From the best all time favourites and old school songs up to the current hits we still have our music session up to now. (Thank God we have the internet and somebody invented the YM)

From being music lovers, we love to talk. Walang kamatayang usapan. The topic? Well about his lovelife lng naman hahaha a

bout my stormy past or anything under the sun. Well, I cannot forget what he did during one heart’s day. We had a class with Atty. Padang, and then kinulit ako na lumabas ng classroom. Where did we go? Hays

shuuuss kinaladkad ako para sumama sakanya na bumili ng flowers for Nicx. (waaaaaaaaaaaaa edited na po ito ag nagkamali nnman ako hahahaha.. sowi fanget! hahahaha funny tlga LOL, me and my poor memory sux.. i've been corrected twice now.. hahahaha)

Here’s one story that I’m sure fanget doesn’t want to talk about. I’m the one who’s writing so wala sya magagawa. The story about my Nokia 5510 phone. “Don’t worry fanget, I’d love to retell this story because this was the reason for our quiet days na walang pansinan or weeks pa ata yun, then after quite some time we again crossed our paths then regained our friendship which made it even more stronger.. di ba d ba? So I’m thankful that it happened.

Here’s the story behind that phone. It was our Rizal class and the room was only dominated by our instructor’s voice. We were seated at the back part and he got bored so he tried to borrow my phone para mag sounds. Then suddenly from our quiet room we all heared….”PAK” hehehe ayun!!! My phone slipped off his hands and kissed the floor nyahahahaha. It was the first phone that I really worked hard for. Mdyo nasira ung phone and then eventually after a few weeks sira na tlga.. hahaha. As I have said earlier it was the cause of our “quietness”. But then that story made us even more stronger to continue our friendship. It’s true that conflicts come and go but if the bond and faith to each other is stronger the spirit of friendship still reigns. And for that fanget! Thank you at nasira mo ung phone ko..hahaha

These are just few of the moments that we had with each other. After quite some time, Outer Haven had a new place dun sa new building. OH is one my favourite place when I was in baguio, it captured my taste for the ambiance of a perfect internet café with the food and great entertainment (syempre andun ung LCD na tv sa taas wherein during those days it’s so expensive pa). That is where we would usually meet outside school. Kahit hnd na kami classmate ni fanget dun nlng kami nagkikita. See, even though people do not see each other God really find ways to let us cross our paths. Minsan there are times when he would treat me for a snack sa OH. There was a time din when we ate at KFC and sya naman ang treat ko. Voracious eater tong tao na to, solve na solve kahit KFC lng.. pero hnd “Lang” lang ang kinakain nya, super dami kumain nto eh..hehehe

The last time when I was in Baguio was way back August 2006. Damn I miss that city!!!!! It’s now 2 years and 4 months and counting since I last saw my friends in baguio. Before I left Baguio, his looks had already changed naman.. from the very slim as in payat na dj nagging buff na din pero nagiging chubby na ata ngaun..hahaha Then pala, he’s no longer a long haired guy, kalbo na sya.. hehe semi lng naman, but it looks good on him. We both love the same flavor of pizza sa yellowcab and waaaa kakamiss.

Lately this past few months starting last year mga December we had reconnected, we had some all night and early morning talks just to catch up with the months of not seeing each other. Thanks to friendster dahil dun ko nakikita ang updates about anyone. AnD! Thanks to O2jam di ba fanget? Hehehe I didn’t know before na my fanget bes knows how to play o2jam then suddenly ayun I texted him na maglaro kami kaya ayun nga. We had a few games but then naging chatting na ung nangyari kaya ym nlng.. hehe

No words can ever express how much I am thankful for this person. He knows me so well, about my past, my present and my future. I hope maka bisita ang mga friends ko from baguio dto sa bicol. Pag planuhan nyo na.. sabi ko nga before.. ur all wecome.. and I'm waiting matagal na.

Dj is an authentic person, quite moody sometimes, but talks with profound sense and meaning. A very open-minded person who made me trusted him so well that I can even trust him a part of my life. He was there in times of my lowest moments and never judged me for my waterloos.

One night we were texting one another. I said I’m leaving for Manila and I was on the bus during that time. Poof!!! It was like a magical blessing, fanget was also on the bus from Zambales going to Manila to work out his papers for his visa. The next day, was the first day of the convention that I attended, the whole day we were texting one another to plan where to meet and we were insisting that we really have to meet coz it’s really a blessing with all the “magical” coincidence and thank God we did meet. His ever supportive mom was with him and we got to chat with one another. That was the most fastest yet very significant days of our friendship. I didn’t knew that it would be the last time for us to see each other. Right now he is on the plane going to the west. L I did miss him and knowing that I’ll get to see him after 3 to 5 years? I’m missing him a lot.

Dec. 13, 2008 his time for his flight for US. He said I'm his lucky charm when he processed his papers in Manila for his visa. This was dj's and his sisters conversation to inform him about his flight. I dunno but he would usually call it “sick sense” coz everytime I would text him, something significant is happening to him and is usually a good thing.

Don’t get me wrong, don't misinterpret us, I may sound that there’s something between us more than friendship, but there’s none. I'm not being defensive or anything, i know some of my friends here in Naga will react again. But for my friends in Baguio? They perfectly know what is between us. We both know that we know what friendship really means. No malice and no hurting and we never did see each other us someone more than friends because we love the way we are. It's an honest fact.

Bear hugs for you fanget. Few calls before your flight made me at easeYou take care sa LA. Keep in touch! ahahaha You still owe me something and your visit here in Bicol =P. Luv you much!

The Meantime Girl

I'm in no mood to write and there is an epiphany of thoughts that I'll just link out entries that I found elsewhere over the net before. Luckily Ching had posted it in her blogspot and the link is also there. (Thanks dear sissy!) What you are about to read is from an account in angelfire.com. I have even recalled my website in angelfire which I really spent sleepless nights with when I was about to enter college. During those days it's hard as a nail to make websites with all the html codes that you have to do in notepad if you're not using FrontPage. I just hope I can still remember my account so that I can access it again. But my poor memory isn't helping me that much to recall the username and password.

Well here's the one I have been talking about.. meet her...she is.. The Meantime Girl.

The Meantime Girl

She`s the one you call when you`re bored because she makes you laugh. She`s the one you talk to when you`re feeling down because she`s willing to lend an ear and be a friend. She`s not the one you call when you need a date to your company`s Christmas party, or to go dancing with on a Saturday night. She`s the one you spend time with between girlfriends, before you find `The One`. You know, the one you keep in the MEANTIME.

She`s not one of the guys, not a tomboy, but you don`t look at her as a "real" woman, either. She`s not bitchy enough, moody enough, or sexy enough to be seen in the light. She`s too laid-back, too easily amused by the same things your male buddies are amused by. She`s too understanding, too comfortable. Doesn`t make you feel nervous or excited the way a `real` woman does. But she`s cool, nice and funny, and attractive enough that when you`re lonely and need intimate female companionship, she`ll do just fine.

You don`t have to wine and dine her because she knows the real you already, and you don`t have any facades to keep up, no pretense to preserve. You`re not trying to get anything of substance out of her. She`s not easy, but you know that she cares about you and is attracted to you. And you know that you don`t have to explain yourself or the situation, that she`ll be able to cope with the fact that this isn`t the beginning of a relationship or that there`s any possiblity that you have any real romantic feelings for her.

It won`t bother her that you`ll get up in the morning, put on your pants, say goodbye, and go on a date with the woman you`ve been mooning over for weeks who finally agreed to go out with you. She`ll settle for a goodbye hug and a promise to call her and tell her how the date went. She`s just so cool.. why can`t all women be like that?!

But deep down, if you really think about it (which you probably don`t.. because to you, the situation between the two of you isn`t important enough to merit any real thought) you know that it`s really not fair.

You know that although she would never say it, it hurts her to know that despite all her good points and all the fun you two have, you don`t think she`s good enough to spend any real time with. Sure, it`smostly her fault, because she doesn`t have to give in to your needs - she could really play hard-to-get. Bitch like the rest of them do, if she really wanted to. But you and she both know that she probably couldn`t pull it off. Maybe she`s too short, or a little overweight, or has big birthmark on her forehead, or works at Taco Bell, or just really not that type.

Whatever the reason, somehow life has given her a lot of really great qualities but has left out the ones that men want (or think they want) in a woman. So she remains forever the funny friend, the steadfast companion, the secret lover, and you go on searching for your goddess who will somehow be everything you ever wanted in a woman.

You`ll joke to her that she should be the best man at your wedding, and she`ll laugh and make a joke about a smelly rental tux.

She doesn`t captivate you with her beauty, or open doors with her smile.

Mainly, she blends in with the crowd. She`s safe. She doesn`t want to be the center of attention and turn the heads of everyone in the room. But she wants to turn someone`s head. She wants to be SPECIAL to someone, too. We all do.

She has feelings. She has heart. In fact, she probably has a bigger heart than any woman you`ve ever known because she`s had a front-row seat to The Mess That Is Your Life, and she likes you anyway.

She obviously sees something worthwhile and redeeming in you because although you`ve given her nothing, absolutely no reason to still be around, she is. - Anonymous

What You See is Not and is What You'll Get

“Can you come with me tomorrow at CASURECO?” Our university Psychometrician popped her question towards me when I was busy tiptyping on the desktop computer. I immediately replied: “Sure ma’am! But does Ma’am Shie (our director) know?”. “Yes, she recommended that you will be the one to come with me for the administration of the test to the trainees/applicants”. As one of the GC's it's a done deal for me to join our Psychometrician coz as much as possible I would also like to be exposed to the different areas of work in our office. So that’s how the potato got cooked. The next morning, I and Ma’am Gaile was supposed to be fetched at 8:00 am by the people from Casureco, but then they came at around 8:40 already. Off we went to Iriga (Casureco III) then arrived at San Isidro at 10:00 AM. That was one of the longest trip from Naga to Iriga that I have experienced and it was due to the heavy traffic going out from Naga.

Number of examinees? 41. Location: Function Room, but then they looked like sardines in it so we had to disperse them. 14 of the trainees under my supervision got to occupy the seats outside the function room. We had to rearranged the chairs and tables.. whew. By the way it was a huge office and there were some disturbances from time to time. Oops! What happened to standardization? This all against to all that I have learned in Psychometrics 1 and 2. And for sure there were a lot of extraneous variables during the exam. =D. Two types of tests were given, an IQ test which was the PNLT and a personality test the 16 PF. Then I administered the exam and considering the background of the examinees I tried to give the instructions in the simplest manner as possible.

Number of trainees to be employed as a LINEMAN? 20 out of 41. Because of the big number, the trainees themselves became so engrossed in answering the questions. Some staffs of Casureco would even joke “dinibdib ng mga nagexam ung test” (they answered the test wholeheartedly) because some of them took the 16 PF for 2 hours.

During the administration of the test, as I was walking around I saw two interesting things.

I saw a replica of R2D2!
It was near the glass window of the 2nd floor office. One of the coolest things ever that I’ve ever seen. Even though I didn’t get to touch it and get a closer look still it pays off a feeling of privilege because only a few owns action figures such as those and as big as that one. Maybe the owner is a Star Wars enthusiast, I wonder if he/she has a collection. People can find meaning in their passion for things and it’s not just a collection or an action figure but it’s an extension of their “child life” in their hearts. We all love to be child once in a while right?

Then again I was walking around the vicinity of the office of Casureco. Near the examiners was a paper posted on the wall. It was quite old and filthy, but I got so curious with it. What in the world is this? What is it doing on the wall? It’s so nonsense then why is it on the wall? I really can’t decipher what was it, so? Back to work!! I now turned my back and continued to check on the examiners. After a few minutes when I was about 10 feet away from the posted paper I suddenly saw a name on it! I even said to myself “waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I’m so sorry!”. I just felt that somehow I should have seen it first than look at the paper’s useless part. Knowing how perception works from General Psychology I know why my eyes saw it that way. But on the contrary, I somehow got guilty that I was not able to see it first.

Try to look at the picture.. then tell me what you saw first. Be honest huh! I even showed it to our students when we got back in our campus and they had the same experience as mine :P

It’s not the test administration and honorarium that had made me happy today because it will be charged to my work experience. But the two simplest yet meaningful things that I saw on the wall and up the office. Yep, I did saw two interesting things. But it’s only R2D2 that I’m not able to get, coz I don’t like to be imprisoned just because of a replica. Hahahaha But with the second one? What I saw is what I got and I'll always get! It’s faith!

Mark Anthony Cadaweng Cielo's Death

Early this morning I was near the counter of our office printing a report on our old school Epson LX 300. Knowing that it takes 10 years to print in a dot matrix printer, I overheard the conversation of our student assistants. “Gadan na baga si Marky Cielo!” (Marky Cielo is dead!). I right away asked them again, “Ano?! Marky Cielo as in si nasa Starstruck?” (What?! Marky Cielo? The one who was in Starstruck?) “Iyo po Ma’am pig news po subanggi” (Yes Ma’am it was on the news last night). Geeee it’s so obvious that I’m not watching the news nowadays. Lazy me, I don’t even browse the Inquirer or Manila Bulletin online. *Sigh* Marky Cielo is a big loss, he's onlly 20 years old and he seemed so simple and humble. I can still remember when it was his Starstruck days, and in Baguio, whenever I would pass by some “ukay ukay” stalls I can hear the owners talking about him and they were so willing to support him. Indeed because of the support he did won the contest. The cause of his death is still unknown and his family wanted it to be privatte matter as of now. This will be a dreadful experience for the bereaved family of Mark Anthony Cadaweng Cielo. May his soul rest in peace and may his family mount enough strength to pass through the pain of this unexpected events of their lives.

Road Safety

Nakakainis na mga motor yan! (Isama nyo na mga tricycle!)These are my frequent words whenever i'm driving around the city. Our road condition here in our country is nevertheless one of hell of a ride especially if you're in major cities. Not only it causes you a lot of gas but it also causes you a lot of headaches. It's hilarious whenever I see 2 wheeled vehicles (motorcycles) are lying on the road because of a collision slash accident. Why? Coz it's so ironic... they occupy a few percentage of the road and yet they still collide with one another. Here's the catch though, most of the motorcycle accidents that I have been seeing are collisions of two motorcycles. Too bad motorcycle and bicycle users does not have any road or lane made specifically for them.

A while ago my dad shared an incident near our main road outside the village, there was an accident at around 10 pm he said.. and guess what? Two motorcycles crashed to one another. I don't know the full details but it's quite rainy and windy outside and they still managed to get ahead with one another. Poor them. My dad reminded me as well to be careful in crossing intersections. Yes papsi i will, as always.

Here are a few things that annoys me a lot with motorcycle drivers! No offense meant for my friends who owns a motorcyle alright?

(As seen in the pictures, walang personalan po.. hehehe it's your back naman that is seen :P hehe. It was taken when i was off to work and i got bored during the traffic with the same expression "nakakainis na mga motor yan". It was raining and as you can see it was quite a rush hour tsk tsk That shot was taken near Panganiban Bridge going to downtown area of Naga City)

1. When you'll find it so hard to find a parking space when you see motorcycles parked like a thrown pencil on a table as if it owns the whole space even though that space is meant for a 4 wheeled vehicle! I know they also need to park their ride but then they should at least know the meaning of "co-existence"! Ummm can you please park it properly on the side so that at least the space will still be used by other drivers?! But I guess it never popped in their heads right or shall I say it had never popped in MOST motorcycle drivers.

2. When motorcycle drivers "overtake"/get ahead on the right side!! We all know that the proper side to overtake is on left side. Then when they suddenly bump on something or slide on the road that they kiss the road, you're still the bad guy/girl to take care of hospital expenses. AND THAT IS CRAP!

3. When motorcycles doesn't have side mirrors! It has been a fad nearly for a few years already that people have been customizing and doing some modifications of motorcycles as well. While they should be thinking of road safety they still think of how cool their motorcyels would look like (but for me it's so "baduy") and sound like (that it sounds like a moving can, parang lata ang tunog eh). I'm talking about the sound system that they would usually show off that they like everyone to hear while they would pass by (sana nlng maganda ung klase ng tunog ano? kaso hindi eh!)

4. When motorcycle drivers wants to push themselves in traffic situations. In our lingo I can say that "mahilig sila magsuksok ng magsuksok bsta makakita ng space". They like it so much to go in between cars! It makes wanna crush them in between! hahaha but of course I can't.

5. When the drivers doesn't have any helmets on them. When there are accidents, the more that it would cost the other party especially if it's a head injury. Ang tigas kc ng mga ulo. Sa Manila bawal ang walang helmet, dto sa Naga? Sus! Ang iba nga may helmet din pero hard hat lng ang ginagamit or worst wala talaga tapos kasma pa buong pamilya! They would use the hard hat thing the one that is used in construction sites. Isn't that weird? They get so lazy in wearing helmets but if they get a head injury they would readily blame others so fast. TMG, PSO, and the PNP, heyyy guyssss do your jobs!!!

6. They are prone to accidents. Yes they are! with a capital Y-E-S so p.r.o.n.e to accidents. They are small yet they are prone to accidents. You know what I mean.

Now what do I do when them whenever I encounter drivers like them?

1. I blow my horns on them. Busina lng katapat nyan! Unahan mo na ng busina. Ung malakas ha. Before then I was still good to them on the road, I don't blow horns on them that often. But now? It's not anymore in my vocabulary. But then I can say mabait parin ako to them kc bumubusina lng ako if i need to. Because if I will compare myself to a friend of mine and my dad? It means war to them when they come across motorcycle drivers. hahaha

2. If they keep on insisting for a space in between cars, whenever I see them coming form the side and rear mirror I now move to the right or left for them not to overtake. =D Ang kulit nyo kc eh!

I know how you feel, it's as if the whole 4 wheeled-ride-community is against you. I know that you should be given a lane for you alone para kayo lng magkakabanggaan (hehehe) and there should be enough parking space alloted for you as well. Blame the government! hihi

See.. from the six things that I hate about them i only got two things for them. I still respect them of course! Knowing that they are prone to accidents, I would lay also lay off my steering wheel on you. But pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee know how to "co-exist" on the road. I just hope everyone knows it on the road para everybody happy and safe.

I'm not talking to the bare bone motorcycle huh.. I'm talking to you who are 2 wheeled drivers out there. Peace out!
